I have identified a potential meet site on the basis of a Sunday lunchtime get together which offers food and is easily accessible from main roads or motorways. It is also adjacent to Leeds Castle ( to some one of the most beautiful castles in the world). I have spoken to the landlady - the pub has just been redecorated and has a large car park - we would be welcome, but advanced orders for food would be welcomed to assist the kitchen. You can see menus on this site. Open to anyone, member or not.

Imaginative food in relaxed surroundings

Take an off the beaten track location in Hollingbourne, a menu bursting with fresh seasonal dishes and a cellar full of real ales and fine wines and you have the ingredients for the perfect country pub and restaurant. It's a winning formula of traditional mixed with a few contemporary touches that makes The Park Gate Inn a special place to visit.

Warm your hands by our cosy log fire, kick back and enjoy lunchtime or evening. Why not plan ahead and book a table online and enjoy some hearty pub food in our restaurant.

A Little Pub History

The inn is named after the gate that once led into Leeds Castle Park in the mid nineteenth century. Leeds Castle has been home to royalty, lords and ladies for over a thousand years. Park Gate was a small hamlet at that time and was served by the inn that has a 16th century building at its core.

Our beautiful old inn is named after the gate that once led into nearby Leeds Castle Park in the mid 19th century and is well placed to refresh the many visitors to the castle, which has been home to royalty, lords and ladies for over 1,000 years.

Leeds Castle (Kent)

Combining 900 years of history and 500 acres of beautiful parkland, Leeds Castle in Kent is the perfect backdrop to your day out.

Open all year round, a blend of heritage and history, glorious gardens and attractions, licensed restaurant and fun-packed programme of events allows you to create your own special memories, whatever you choose to do. The Leeds Castle World of Wings

Our internationally renowned aviaries offer a fascinating glimpse into the world of modern conservation and captive breeding programmes. Swans glide on the moat and waterways, peacocks wander through the grounds and birds of prey soar on the wind during our new World of Wings Shows.

The gardens offer continuous colour throughout the year. From a mass of spring bulbs and wild flowers in the Wood Garden, through fragrant herbs and roses in the quintessentially English Culpeper Garden, to late flowering borders in the drought-resistant Mediterranean Lady Baillie Garden. Conferences, meetings, weddings and banquets can also be arranged in the castle and other areas on the estate.

Leeds Castle is not just a museum but also a place where people meet and special events bring the grounds to life.

There is also a 9 hole pay and play golf course, offering stunning views of the castle, with challenging holes.
