Following on from the success of last year's event, we will again be organising a camping weekend away from the hurly-burly of FCS and Donington Park Circuit, which is open to all members whether or not they are attending the French Car Show, and ALL Renault models, classic to brand new.
Proposed Timetable:
Friday 6th July afternoon evening arrive at campsite, pitch tents and enjoy a Fish & Chip Supper
Saturday 7th - Attend French Car Show or relax and enjoy the Derbyshire countryside at your own leisure. Barbecue in the evening at the campsite
Sunday 8th - return to FCS for weekend ticketholders, or maybe explore the surrounding area with a pub lunch. Some of us will be heading south to the Clandon Park Show (See separate listing) which we intend to use as a tribute to our much missed member Ngaire Wadman, to whom this show & it's Charity beneficiary meant so much
The charge for camping will be £18 per tent per night (£21 with electric hook-up) including up to two adults, and all meals and drinks are at the member's own expense. Firm bookings for camping, together with a £10 deposit (please add £1 if paying by PayPal to cover their charges) to be received by June 3rd please. Luxury camping pods are also available for those not keen on canvas at £55-£75 per night, subject to availability
Tickets for French Car Show should be booked directly with the organisers - don't forget to select "Renault Owners Club" from the drop-down menu to park in the members' display area
This is very much a "pick'n'mix" event - members are free to join in with as much or as little as they choose, and all are welcome. Please register your interest in attending, indicating which parts of the weekend you would like to participate in. Email Club Events
